Special Commemorative Artworks – 50th Anniversary of the Thrilla in Manila
Guests attending the September 27, Fighter’s Heaven Tribute to the 50th Anniversary of the Thrilla in Manila will have the opportunity to view and purchase original commemorative artwork created by British fine artist Mark Dickens.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary Thrilla in Manila, Dickens has created a special series of intimate mixed media artworks. Each piece is original and one-of-a-kind.
The series will be exclusively showcased at Fighter’s Heaven on September 27th, celebrating Ali’s iconic training camp and the memory of one of boxing’s greatest nights. These unique pieces capture the power, spirit, and cultural impact of Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier’s historic bout on October 1, 1975.
Dickens will be traveling to Fighter’s Heaven from Abu Dhabi, where he currently lives, for this special event. Dickens is currently in collaboration with Khaliah Ali and photographer Jeff Julian on a special ‘Fighter’s Heaven in Art’ project that pays tribute to Ali’s legacy and his special connection to his beloved Schuylkill County training camp.
